Not sure which DAW you're using but the lead as it releases it's mono slide it's a tad sharp. If you're using FL Studio I'd suggest playing around with the mod wheels to keep it at an even velocity. Makes me think of Tomba in the clown pig area. I think messing with the attack some might help

GreyHooves responds:

I use Logic Pro. I didn't really even notice it until you pointed it out. Funny how that works, eh? I think I could either adjust the velocities or note lengths to fix it or tweak the envelope. I usually don't revisit songs I've released that often, so it might be a while before I do anything to it, but it's nice having someone else's ears to find these things I miss. Danke~

Reminds me of a Warehouse level from the SNES, this would fit many super hero genre beat'em ups or platformers.

GreyHooves responds:

Honestly, that's very similar to what I had in mind from the very first notes of the bassline when I started writing it :P

Reminds me of Columns for the Sega Genesis
I like how lighthearted the track is. You've got that canon flow that I love in music. Great job!

GreyHooves responds:

I'm not familiar with Columns, but thank you. It's always interesting to see when my music reminds others of games they've played. It happens to me all the time as well :P

Well done. I feel it needs more of a lead solo. Keep up the great work!

Spline-1337 responds:

Thanks for the tips! I will surely keep in mind in future tracks!

How haunting. Reminds me of a laboratory in video games.

DrunkGecko responds:

alertG responds:

It's a bit loud on my end

It's a little loud but I like it, it sounds SNESy enough o: 9/10
You should check out my stuffs. I'm working on the sega sound >w<

vedrim responds:

I tried to get it as close to 0 db as I could without clipping, since the volume winds up being too soft most of the time. Anywho, glad you enjoyed it; I checked out some of your stuff, I like it =).

Hi! My name is Baki and I play guitar and I make chiptune. I've played for 20 years and love to collaborate with other artists. I don't upload guitar primarily because I have too much fun shredding. My song Dark Dance is featured in Pit People!
